W.C. Fields
was designed and manufactured by Effanbee and only produced in 1980. His is the first doll in the Legend Series and was made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of W.C. Fields. He is 15 1/2" tall, fully jointed, and made of vinyl. He has painted features, vibrant facial coloring, and molded hair.
He comes dressed in his original outfit which includes black and white tweed pants, black jacket with tails and faux fur at cuffs and collar, white shirt, burgundy and white polkadot ascot, and black and white shoes. He also comes with his original gray hat with black headband that is still in the original plastic.
He comes in his original box, never removed, and also has his original factory tag. The box is in acceptable condition but does show a bit of age wear.
