Vintage Hammersley & Co. Bone China Cup  (circa 1939-1950’s)
The backstamp includes an acorn with a basket and the words circled around as Bone China, Hammersley & Co., Made in England.
Circa 1939+
An elegant cup with
Gold floral and pastel yellow gilt on white china.
The cup is hand painted with the number 4567 and a 1.
Due to the saucer having a crack line, I am offering you the saucer free (no charge).  The saucer is not numbered but does have the hand painted 1 to match the cup.
The gilt wear is exceptionally good for the age of this piece.
The handle has no wear pattern of usage.
This set was a curio display piece.
The cup measures approximately 4 1/8" in diameter, not including the handle.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2" in diameter.
Bargain price for such a prestige and desirable set.
