    Cool Collectable from
    EFFANBEE LEGEND SERIES, 15 1/2" GEORGE BURNS DOLL, DISPLAYED, NEVER REMOVED FROM BOX, 1996.
    Original owner, doll was purchased in 1996, displayed in box on a high shelf & nearly forgotten!  George Burns has never been removed from the box; wears his original clothing & comes complete with generic Doll Stand; Glasses, that are in a small plastic zip bag stapled to the inside of the box as is a silicon packet; attached label; holds a lit cigar & is wearing the original outfit.  George Burns doll is made from hard plastic & is a really good likeness of the great comedian from the 1990's era.  Ribbon has been tied to the upper & lower of the doll keeping the doll in place, which may be seen in the photos; hard twist-ties likely lost at some point.  As the doll was sitting so long, it was
    MEGA-DUSTY.
    We've done our best to clean Mr. Burns w/o removing him from the box, so the doll does have additional dust & minor age spotting to the exposed areas of his White Shirt.  Inside of box that holds the doll also has age spotting; top & bottom of box that holds doll are not attached to corner seams--unknown if the box came that way or split at the seams.  Elastic banded tag on right hand--there is surface creasing to the top layers of the Gold label, lightly bent, but clean.
    LEGEND SERIES  GEORGE BURNS  EFFANBEE  HE BEGAN HIS CAREER ON THE VAUDVILLE STAGE AND LATER WENT ON TO BECOME A PIONEER IN RADIO AND TV, A MOVIE STAR AND ONE OF THE GREATEST LEGENDS OF THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY.  IT IS ONLY FITTING THAT TODAY, HE'S A LEGEND ONCE AGAIN.  EFFANBEE PROUDLY PRESENTS GEORGE BURNS AS THE FIRST DOLL IN THE RETURN OF THE EFFANBEE LEGENDS SERIES...1996 EFFANBEE DOLL COMPANY.
    COA slipped behind the doll, clean.  Black box cover has fairly good color with minor scuffing, small tears expose White to the upper sides; box is still sturdy.
