FRENCHAY DYSARTHRIA ASSESSMENT (For stroke and traumatic brain injury)

Description

This assessment identifies and classifies patients who may have a dysarthria. It assess the following eight areas: reflex, respiration, lips, jaw, soft palate, laryngeal, tongue, and intelligibility.  Based on the results, patients are classified as having upper or lower motor neurone damage, extrapyramidal, cerebellar, or mixed.  The assessment is very revealing and provides excellent insight for therapy intervention and rehabilitation. It comes complete with the assessment manual and two packs of assessment forms in triplicate (about 20).
