Custom Bell Siphon for Larger Grow Beds.
I have built Bell Siphons for
multiple
home projects with great success. The same siphon has been on one of my system for
over a year without any issues
.  This siphon will always
break the suction
after draining thanks to the added snorkel tubbing.
Customize the bell siphon to accommodate your grow bed.
The bell is 2" wide. The stand pipe is 1" wide and the media guard is 4" wide.
Please select preferred height you would like the
water level
.  If you don't see your height available please email me with your specifications.  It's best to keep the water 1" to 2" below the surface of your medium. The media guard will be cut to 2" above your growing surface.
If you know the exact height you want the stand pipe, bell siphon, and media guard please email me the specs and I will meet your needs.
e  (you can easily connect your own 1" pvc pipe if you need to extend it to your fish tank).
Included:
One 4" thin wall pvc media guard.
One 2" pvc bell with cap and snorkel tubing (which allows the siphon to break more efficiently).
One 1" stand pipe.
One pair male and female threaded adapters with 2 o-rings to match the adapter
Two 1" 90 degree elbows
One 7" & one 4" piece of 1" pvc pipe
Printed instructions are included.
Custom Order Instructions.  Please specify following Options:
Standpipe Height:
This will determine the water level height.  Measure from the bottom of your grow bed to approx. 1" to 2" below the growing surface.  The Bell Siphon is approx. 2" taller than the standpipe.
Media Guard Height:
I would recommend this to be 2" above growing surface.
If you prefer the bell siphon to not have the snorkel tubing, express that in your email.  I'll accommodate your needs.
